Facebook visitor action pixel

This website also uses the “visitor action pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). With this tool, we can track the actions of users after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook advertisement. In this way we can determine the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical purposes and market research. The data gathered in this way are anonymous, which means we are not able to view the personal data of individual users. This data, however, will be saved and processed by Facebook and we will inform you of our level of knowledge accordingly. Use of Instagram

We use the Instagram service on our website. Instagram is a service of Instagram Inc. The integrated “Insta” button on our page informs Instagram that you have accessed the respective page of our website. If you are logged into Instagram, Instagram may assign your visit to our website to your Instagram account and link the data in this way. The data transmitted by clicking the “Insta” button is stored by Instagram. You can find more information regarding the purpose and scope of data collection, its processing and use as well as your associated rights and settings options for protecting your privacy in the Instagram data protection notice at https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388.

To prevent your visit to our website from being accessed by your Instagram account, you must log out of your Instagram account before visiting our website.

Vimeo videos

Our website uses plugins of the Vimeo video portal. This service is provided by Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.

If you visit one of our pages that features a Vimeo plugin, a connection with the Vimeo servers is established. In this context, the Vimeo server is informed about which of our pages you have visited. In addition, Vimeo obtains your IP address. This also applies even if you are not logged into Vimeo when visiting our website or if you do not have a Vimeo account. The information collected by Vimeo is transmitted to a Vimeo server in the USA, where it is stored.

If you are logged into your Vimeo account, you allow Vimeo to associate your browsing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Vimeo account.

For more information on how to handle user data, please refer to the Vimeo Privacy Policy at: https://vimeo.com/privacy.

Use of Google Adwords

For promotional purposes, our website also uses the Google advertising tool “Google-Adwords”. In this respect, we use the “Conversion-Tracking” analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”, on our website. Insofar as you access our website via a Google advertisement, a cookie will be placed on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser places and stores on your computer. These “conversion cookies” lose their validity after 30 days and do not serve your personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie is still valid, we as well as Google can detect that you as a user have clicked on one of our advertisements that has been placed with Google and have been redirected to our website.

The information collected with the use of the “conversion cookies” is used by Google to compile visitor statistics for our website. We use these statistics to identify the total number of users who have clicked on our advertisement and the pages on our website subsequently accessed by the respective users. We and/or others advertising via “Google Adwords”, however, do not obtain any information whatsoever with which users can be identified personally.

You can prevent the installation of “conversion cookies” by setting your browser accordingly, for example by selecting the browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic placement of cookies or that specifically blocks the cookies from the domain “googleadservices.com”.
