With his initiative “Henne&Hahn”, which translates as hen and rooster, free-range pioneer and freethinker Toni Hubmann started bringing up the roosters together with the hens. In the fresh air and with the best feed – until they become delicious cockerels.

Toni Hubmann has the handling of hens and roosters in his DNA – his grandfather already bred domestic chicken breeds. Now Toni has gotten them back on his farm. With the initiative “Henne&Hahn”, he celebrates the old traditions where hen and rooster run through the fields together. The ones lay the best organic free-range eggs; the others become a perfect lunch meal.
To illustrate the initiative, moodley developed an impressive microsite that does not only answer the old question of hens and eggs, but also shows what it means to be cockerel on Toni’s farm – in a very entertaining way. But also the packaging appears unusual and lovely at the same time. The happiest chickens under the sun only deserve the best, after all.
